You must become aware very quickly that love, no matter how fleeting, is not a game not a mere trifle. A woman's affections are not something to be toyed with or taken lightly. No matter how romantic your gestures may be they mean not a thing when done under false pretenses. Empty notions of impure hearts lead to scorn forever felt.
